UCalgary Law students awarded Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation scholarships

Second-year students Valerie Simion and Tanis Makowsky have been awarded 2016-2017 Rocky Mountain Mineral Law Foundation Scholarships.

The RMMLF Scholarships Program was established in 1993, and includes the David P. Phillips Scholarship created in 2012 to honor David Phillips, who served for 42 years as the Executive Director of the Foundation. The scholarship is awarded to students who have the potential to make significant contributions to scholarship in natural resources law.

Both Valerie and Tanis are entering third year at UCalgary Law in September. Tanis is also a student in the International Energy Lawyers Program (IELP).
