Phillips Emerging Cancer Scholar Award in Cancer Research

Eligibility

Applications are solicited from interested, prospective trainees external to the University of Calgary prior to their enrollment in a graduate program, or from current trainees supervised by a member of the Arnie Charbonneau Cancer Institute. For graduate scholarships, the award is contingent on acceptance into a full-time PhD/MSc program at the University of Calgary under the supervision of a member of the Arnie Charbonneau Cancer Institute.

Applicants must have the following qualifications:

• Acceptance into a full-time PhD or MSc program at the University of Calgary under the supervision of a member of the Arnie Charbonneau Cancer Institute
• Award recipients and their supervisors must become members of the Arnie Charbonneau Cancer Institute, adhering to all membership guidelines
• Applicants must not have previously received funding through the Phillips Emerging Cancer Scholars Award

Number of Awards: Up to 2 awards per year, subject to available funding
