Biography

Dr. John Wellesley Robinson is an adjunct associate professor in the Department of Oncology in the Cumming School of Medicine, and the Department of Psychology at the University of Calgary. John is an active member of the clinical research team at the Tom Baker Cancer Centre (TBCC), which is internationally recognized as a centre of excellence in Psychosocial Oncology. Since 1986,  he has created and evaluated  interventions to help patients and their partners  live with and beyond cancer, with a special focus on ovarian and prostate cancer.  He serves as a consultant to sexual health and rehabilitation programs at several cancer centers,  is an executive member of the Quality of Life and GU Disease Site Committees of the  Canadian Cancer Trials Group, and a director of Ovarian Cancer Canada. He was recognized at the 2010 International Psycho Oncology Congress for his clinical excellence.
