Teaching Across Borders Showcase 2015

On Thursday January 14, 2016 Teaching Across Borders returnees, family, friends, students and faculty gathered in TFDL Gallery Hall for a showcase in an event organized by TAB Director Roswita Dressler and Associate Dean International Colleen Kawalilak. Groups of students who were placed in Japan, Vietnam, Brazil and Spain spoke about their learning and set up displays of artefacts and student work. In addition, Allyssa Hildebrand, a TAB student who had been placed in Japan, spoke about how her experience in Hokkaido influenced her teaching during Field 3. This event served as the culmination of the Teaching Across Borders 2015 participants.
